"Out of the crate"

Films: Salvage (2009)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: You're just enjoying your time in the neighborhood, meeting old friends and reconnecting with family when BOOM! The military shows up, and demands you stay indoors because something's afoot! What will you say when they say it's a monster?

History: Developed by the military as a bioweapon, this humanoid beast was being transferred via helicopter. But then the copter crashed into the sea, taking the crate holding the monster with it. After it got washed up on the beach, some drunk teens opened it, letting it loose upon the unsuspecting masses. Now, a small neighborhood is held in a grip of terror as the monster eludes capture and slaughters many.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After terrorizing a specific family for some time, the monster is finally brought down when it gets stabbed to death by the mom.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-The main problem this monster has is that we barely see it. It probably has something to do with this film not having much of a budget, but then it must also involve the fact that it's a rather generic beast. Still, it kills efficiently, so watch out.

Trivia: -This film was actually done on the former set of "Brookside", and old soap opera. It was the last thing done their before it became private property.

-This was one of three films made in 2008 to coincide with Liverpool's status as EU City of Culture that year.
